Throwaway Loves–
mixed technique, 30x40
I was inspired by fleeting loves, those we consume quickly and then let go.
That’s why I chose a fragile, everyday material: a garbage bag, transformed into the living skin of the work.
The colors recall the twilight landscapes of Lanzarote, with its golden lights merging into deep blues.
The underlying canvas, emerging through the lacerations, represents what we are: vulnerable, imperfect, yet real.
A work that speaks of fragility, consumption, time, and transformation.
