"Panormus"

"Panormus" is an homage to my hometown, Palermo — a city of contrasts, layers, and ancient energy. The name itself comes from the Greek, meaning "all port", and this piece reflects that openness: a crossroads of cultures, histories, and identities.

Created with acrylics and mixed media, the painting incorporates texture and organic materials that evoke the city's volcanic roots and Mediterranean soul. It's both a tribute and a reflection — of memory, belonging, and transformation.
